Two-day Masterclass: Innovation in Maxillofacial Imaging
This masterclass extending in two days, will give the opportunity to explore the digital workflow in maxillofacial surgery in depth, with hands-on exercises on planning, surgery and prosthetic rehabilitation. The first day workshop will focus on CBCT in digital orthognatic planning, from basic diagnostic tools and AI, to digital planning and surgery with 3D printing of splints. The second day will focus on digital implant planning and the prosthetic rehabilitation of complex cases, including the fully edentulous patient and zygoma implants, using static and dynamic (navigation) surgical guides.
This workshop will thus familiarize surgeons with digital tools for Maxillofacial surgeries
- 3D Diagnosis of Maxillofacial cases (+ hands-on exercises DTX clinic)
- AI tools helping in diagnosis and planning (airway, TMJ, nerves,..)
- The Virtual Patient in Maxillofacial Surgery
- The digital workflow of Orthognatic planning (+ hands-on exercises IPS)
- 3D printing of splints
- Digital Implant planning introduction –digital impressions
- Digital Implant planning of the totally edentulous patient (+ hands-on exercises in DTX implant)
- Complex rehabilitation using zygoma implants: the severally atrophic maxilla
- Static guides and 3D printing
- Dynamic Navigation in Maxillofacial Implantology (+ hands-on exercise on phantoms)
