DESCRIPTION:<p style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>COURSE IN ENGLISH (WITH DUTCH AND FRENCH SUPPORT)</strong></p>\nL'introduction du CBCT en dentisterie a complètement changé le diagnostic et planning dentaire. Les nombreux avantages de l'imagerie 3D dans le planning des cas orthodontiques avancés et plus complex peuvent finalement être utilisés grâce à la faible dose et la résolution excellente du CBCT. Néanmoins, il faut être vigilant avec ce type d'imagerie et une bonne manipulation et interprétation de ces images est absolument nécessaire afin de pouvoir bien planifier le traitement. Dans ce cours, l'anatomie en 3D et la manipulation de l'image 3D sera abordé avec un focus sur le diagnostic radiologique et planning 3D en combinaison avec l'imagerie thérapeutique dans le cadre du traitement orthodontique.\n\n<em>De intrede van lage dosis 3D CBCT beeldvorming in de tandheelkunde heeft de orthodontische diagnostiek en planning drastisch veranderd. De Vele voordelen van 3D beeldvorming in de complexe orthodontische planning worden met deze technologie meer aanvaardbaar gezien de lage dosis en de uitstekende resolutie.  Doch dient goed gelet te worden op het manipuleren van deze beelden en de interpretatie ervan alvorens over te gaan tot een definitieve planning.
