A GUIDE to beginners: introduction to Guided Surgery

Deze eendaagse workshop biedt de mogelijkheid om de eerste stappen in de digitale implantologie en geleide implantaatchirurgie te verkennen.

3D CBCT met lage dosis heeft de implantaatworkflow de afgelopen jaren veranderd, vooral met andere digitaliseringsfenomenen zoals intraorale afdrukken. In een paar klikken kan een 3D-implantaatplanning worden gegenereerd met een chirurgisch guide-ontwerp voor in-house printing. Toch kunnen veel valkuilen in de workflow leiden tot onnauwkeurigheid, met mogelijk gevaarlijke resultaten. Het doel van deze workshop is daarom om de behandelaar te helpen de workflow te begrijpen en 3D-planning te leren door middel van praktische oefeningen met de coDiagnostix implantaatsoftware. De workflow wordt van A tot Z behandeld en deze inleidende cursus over digitale implantologie wordt gecompleteerd met een LIVE chirurgie met in-house geprinte surgical guide.

This one-day introductory workshop will give the opportunity to explore the first steps in digital implantology and guided implant surgery.

3D low dose CBCT has changed the implant workflow over the last few years, especially with other digitalisation phenomena like intraoral impressions. In a few clicks, a 3D implant planning can be generated with a surgical guide design for in-house printing. Nevertheless, many pitfalls in the workflow can lead to imprecision, with potentially dangerous results. This workshop’s purpose is therefore to help the practitioner to understand the workflow and learn 3D planning with hands-on exercises using the coDiagnostix implant software. The workflow from A to Z will be covered, and a LIVE surgery with in-house printed guided will complement this introductory course on digital implantology.
